I went to Target tonite by myself. I needed to pick up the rest of the goodies for the kids' teacher gifts. I am giving them the cutest little pink bowls from Pampered Chef and filling them with candies...the white and pink Good and Plenty's, white foil wrapped Reese's, White Kit Kats, white/pink wrapped BubbleGum, tiny marshmallows, white fudge covered pretzels, and some sort of white/pink Trolli gummi fruit - all in a cello bag that sits in the bowl. Can't wait to package it all up.
I headed over to Harmon's for some grocery shopping and I noticed it was after 10. I started to feel a little sleepy. Just a bit.
I strolled by the granola bars and I am not lying when I tell you I saw Mount Rushmore in a granola bar. I thought "really now, how healthy can a granola bar be if they are able to manufacture an image of Mt Rushmore on the granola?" I needed to take another look so I backed up. I scanned all the boxes, nothing. I read all the labels to see what I might have read or seen to make me think that I saw Mt Rushmore on a freakin' granola bar. Nothing. After a good two minutes of standing there I walked on but not without stopping and turning back real quick a few times to see if I could make it happen again. I actually laughed out loud at myself in the store. Mt Rushmore...funny. I really must have been delirious. I have no connection whatsoever to that place. Never been there. Could barely tell you who is on it. Let's see Washington, Teddy Roosevelt, Lincoln, Jefferson (?) Just goes to show you what tricks your mind will play on you when you are exhausted..
