I bought/got this Nano for my birthday. Mike and I were out shopping and he told me I could buy myself something. I chose to get another iPod because this one will work with the Nike+ system. I think I've already told you this. Anyway, I just wanted to hail it's virtues, if you care to listen...
Since I've bought/got it, Big Red (that's what it's called on my iTunes acct) has been living side by side with Cece's iPhone. It's like a mother child relationship, and iPhone is doing the kangaroo care- since Big Red doesn't have it's own case yet (Apple, you listening? These have been out for over a month now and your vendors still haven't put out any accessories for them!). Big Red really isn't big, I just gave it that name to make it feel better about it's size. This thing is actually so small and thin that I am pretty sure I could eat it in one fell swoop were it a piece of candy. Half a slab of Tangy Taffy is bigger, actually. I know from experience. So small that it sits pretty comfortably in my cleavage -remember they havent released any cases, gotta make do. By telling you this, I no longer have to worry about any of you asking to borrow it;) Smart me.
The part I like most is the shake to shuffle feature. Imagine listening to a song come on that you're not in the mood for. Give Big Red a shake and it shuffles to a new song. Now that's fun. I don't even have the Nike+ piece yet so I'm sure I will love it even more once I get it. Really didn't think I would be tickled by this but I am. It's snowing today. The earliest snow since we moved here 5 years ago.
p.s. i wrote this Oct 12 on my iphone, hence the blurry picture. My blog app for the iPhone just now decided to publish it. weird.
